The share of each council’s addresses whose lot is at least partly on land the hazard map shows (at the address itself, for mine subsidence), counted among the addresses where that map applies. Each is the figure that council area’s own page leads with, and the page explains it. These are what the government maps show, not a risk rating, and the list is alphabetical.
Addresses, not homes: an apartment building is many addresses on one lot. Not mapped: no map covers most of the council in the layers we read, which does not mean there is no hazard. Partly mapped: the map covers only part of the council area, so no share is given. Other classes: the map records its own classes, so no share is given. No statistics: none is shown for that council. Unincorporated NSW joins the Far West with Lord Howe Island, and one figure would describe neither.
Flood planning: A flood planning area is a planning control, not a flood model: it says nothing about overland flow. The council may hold flood information that no map in these layers shows; the planning certificate says what applies.
